In this episode, Amie and Adam interview Fr. Guerric Heckel, who has taken a vow to live as a monk in a Benedictine Trappist Monastery in Moncks Corner, SC called Mepkin Abbey. In his ministry, Fr. Guerric has served as a Catholic priest, the director of a shelter, a hospital chaplain, and currently serves as the director of the St. Francis retreat center located at Mepkin Abbey. Fr. Guerric has a wealth of wisdom to offer, especially on the topics of spiritual discernment, prayer, and contemplative practices.
