Clay Cooke is a co-founder of the School of Love, a non-profit Christian organization that is based out of Winston-Salem, NC. Their non-profit is dedicated to living into a rule of life traditionally modeled by monastic communities, adopting social justice reform and actions historically and contemporarily modeled by the Black Church in America, and living into a love of neighbor and self that is energized by God’s love for us and the whole creation. Their goal is to revitalize the Church and for Christians to rediscover a more communal and wide-reaching faith that is beyond overly individualistic models of faith and beckons us to receive God’s love in order to more fully love ourselves, each other, and God’s creation.
